Note: I am aware of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act and try to use plain, simple stones that are minimally treated if at all and whose origins I can track; natural defects may thus more apparent, but I use these for energetic reasons. I also contend that waxed cotton is less treated than leather strap necklaces(cotton shown below), Sterling Silver is CPSIA exempt and I can produce MSDS safety info on the silver wire I use, as I try to maintain an overall high safety profile with a clean process.
